I Did it!
I just returned home last Saturday from Nampa, Idaho, where I was priviledged to
have witnessed the birth of my younger sister’s sixth child, a beautiful baby
girl they named Lauryn Samantha.
I always adore watching the miracle of a child being born, and since my sisters
and I are so very close, we always have welcomed one another during the
deliveries of our babies. Never does it cease to be amazing to watch a new
precious life come into the world.
I was the ‘cameraman’ because I wanted to help out in any way I could. The
delivery went so smoothly, my sister could not have asked for a more wonderful
birth for her last baby. it all went very smoothly. My mom and me and Grandma
Gaye went back to the house at 3 am or so. I spentthe night on an airmattress on
the floor which felt like heaven since I was so tired. Little Sadie (whoSE TWO)
wanted to be up at 6:30 am, so as tired as we all were, we didn’t get too much
sleep. I spent my day playing with those little nieces and nephews of mine that
all live in Idaho and I barely get to get to know them as the precious little
individuals they area. I got to fly home to Oregon. I hadn’t been on a plane for
10 years! But……it was actually fun! Good times, let ’em roll! (I know it
took a week for me to post this, but, let’s just say I have been a bit busy. I’d
LOVE to tell you, but I just cannot yet……I am on a ‘secret’ mission…….tee
hee.)
Sweet baby Lauyrn, my newest neice.
