Beautiful Mommies blog was started in 2008, as I was raising my children.  I wanted to create an outlet in which I could express my thoughts on parenting, seek advice from other mothers, and discover great products and companies that make life being a mother easier. And to make all mommies feel as beautiful as they are!

I am PR Friendly and love working with great companies! Please email me at julin11@peoplepc.com

Pork Rinds Continue Support for Football Legends in Need
Rudolph Foods and brands lead consumers in campaign to celebrate love of pork rinds
while supporting Gridiron Greats

Lima, OH (September 24, 2013) - Rudolph Foods, the world’s largest manufacturer of pork rinds, has announced its Third Annual Pork Rind Appreciation Day campaign. Celebrated on the biggest football day of the year, and on the first Sunday of February, Pork Rind Appreciation Day was cemented as an annual event after the pork rind leader secured hundreds of thousands of consumer votes, as well as political designations.  Matched each year with charitable support, Rudolph Foods will again support the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides medical and financial assistance to former National Football League (NFL) players in dire need.

Between now and the big game, $.10 of the purchase of all Rudolph Foods branded products will support the organization’s assistance fund (up to $15,000). The campaign is also matched with several opportunities for consumers to play along for chances to win football parties, pork rinds and other prizes to celebrate pig skins and pig skins together.

As part of the 3rd annual campaign, Rudolph Foods is further encouraging lovers of pork rinds to help make the six month campaign a success by visiting the brand’s web site at RudolphFoods.com/PorkRindDay. There, fans can vote for Team Spicy or Team Smooth as their favorite pork rind team. Team Spicy is lead by Super Bowl Champ, “coach” Dennis McKinnon and home to all the Hot & Spicy flavors of the Rudolph Foods family of brands. Team Smooth is lead by Hall of Famer, “coach” Lem Barney and home to all the classic and smooth flavors of the Rudolph Foods family of brands. Consumers will also be encouraged to vote for their favorite pork rind player. One winner will be chosen, at random, from the winning team and awarded the grand prize of $1,500 and a one year supply of pork rinds and announced on January 7th.

After the winning pork rind team is announced, the winning four flavors will compete against each other in the “Super Snack Bowl” at RudolphFoods.com/PorkRindDay. Consumers can log on, beginning January 8, and vote for their favorite flavor once a day. Throughout the “Super Snack Bowl” consumers will be chosen at random to win a case of Rudolph Foods pork rinds.

“There are very few things more American than pork rinds and “The Big Game,” says Mark Singleton, Vice President Sales and Marketing for Rudolph Foods. “As a family-owned company ourselves, Rudolph Foods is proud to lead other football-lovin’ families in the support of Gridiron Greats.”

The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund’s mission is to assist retired NFL players in need, who were pioneers of the game and who have greatly contributed to the NFL’s status as the most popular sport in America. GGAF provides hands-on assistance to help retired players and their families deal with hardships they face after football. The services include medical assistance, transportation costs for medical evaluations and surgeries, housing assistance, financial assistance for utilities, medication, and coordination of services for food, automotive payments and childcare.

Last year, Rudolph Foods conducted their second campaign for Pork Rind Appreciation Day, as a continuation to helping Rudolph Foods’ consumers celebrate pork rinds as a nostalgic snack that encourages families to join together each football season to watch the game together. A successful campaign, Rudolph Foods donated $10,000 to the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, supporting retired NFL players in need.

My Experience: I was sent two bags of Rudolph food's pork rinds to review. I am not and nor will I ever be a fan of any kind of football. While I am not too fond of flying pigskin ..............I will certainly eat them! Each crunchy piece is happiness for my mouth. I personally love the Southern Recipe Hot & Spicy flavor. The plain ones are very good, too! They are low carb, low fat and I will easily eat an entire bag by myself. I love them!!!!
