I love coconut! I was thrilled when I found out about Dang Coconut Chips. I had no idea there was yet another way to enjoy coconut~ in tasty sweet, delicious and satisfying crunchy chips. Yum!
Made from the nutrient-packed copra, or meat of the coconut, these toasted coconut chips are a delicious snack that provides loads of energy. The meat is sliced out of mature coconuts then gently toasted until golden brown with a dash of sugar and salt. The toasting process brings out the natural sweetness of the coconut meat and turns it from white to golden brown.
Since copra is high in fiber, you don’t have to eat a lot to feel full…a few handfuls and you’ll be good to go. Toasted coconut chips are the perfect snack because they satisfy your snack cravings quickly and give you a boost of energy.
Many cultures around the world have been subsisting on coconuts for generations, and rightfully so. My thoughts: I was sent a couple of bags of the delicious Dang Toasted Coconut Chips to review. The flavors I received were Original and Caramel Sea Salt.
I can’t decide which flavor I love the most. They are both such a tasty and satisfying snack that I can enjoy any time of the day without guilt because they are nutritious as well as yummy. The Caramel Sea Salt is flavored with 100% pure coconut sugar to achieve a natural burnt caramel taste. It is so good! My entire family loves them.
I am going to be ordering some more to put in my children’s school lunches!
