One of the most important gifts that you can give to a young lady is her very own journal. It may seem like an insignificant, or even a thoughtless gift at first, because it is a book with empty pages. But as that young woman begins to fill it with her innermost thought, dreams, feelings and fears, It will become a priceless masterpiece.
I have always kept a journal. Reading through them now, It is interesting to reflect upon my mental and spiritual growth as I blossomed from a child into a woman. My journals reflect my thoughts and feelings, hopes and dreams that I had so long ago. Many of my journals were simple spiral bound notebooks that are falling apart now, but each one is a unique piece of my history.
When you are selecting a journal to give as a gift to somebody special, you should definitely consider an Ellie Claire Journal that is not only beautiful, but is made to last.
I was given the change to review three brand new journals by Ellie Claire. Each one is a work of art in itself. Below, you can see what makes each journal unique.
Faith & Lettering The perfect resource to discover and develop your own personal style for lettering and illustrating your faith.
With guides, instructions, and tutorials, this is a fun and inspiring way to create beauty with words. It is the perfect place for journalers to practice Bible journaling, lettering quotes and verses, or decorating a page with original thoughts and plans. Exploring your God-given creativity has never been so rewarding.
This journal is lovely. I love the texturized hard outer cover, and the intricate gold lettering. Each page is made with the highest quality, thick paper. There are inspirational quotes and bible verses throughout it, along with plenty of space to write!
The Illustrated Word Journal-Create your own masterpiece with this journal that has forty glorious illustrations from ancient manuscripts that have been recreated as line drawings. Just as medieval monks brought Scripture to life through intricate inked illustrations in handwritten manuscripts hundreds of years ago, you can now create your own stunning keepsake that will be treasured for years to come.
I love this one, too. Just holding it in my hands, I can tell that it is made to last. In every detail you can see (and feel!) how amazing this journal is. It gives the writer space to pour out their heart onto the lined pages, and pictures from bible stories to color.
Illuminate Your Story– Use this almost-lost art of illuminating letters to enhance your writing, Bible journaling, or sermon note-taking. Rich illustrated manuscripts in the Museum of the Bible’s collection inspired these gorgeous letters. Easy to follow instructions, practice pages, and encouragements guide you through the creation of amazing start letters, flourishes, and more.
This journal is a little smaller than the other two. The neat thing about this journal is that it teaches you how to create your own type of illuminated lettering that was used hundreds of years ago in the holy scriptures. There are inspirational quotes and scriptures throughout. There is even a little elastic band to book mark your place.
Any young lady would love to receive one of these journals as a holiday gift, or just because.
I received a complimentary copy to facilitate this review. Opinions are mine alone and are freely given.
