I grew up using Mary Kay and have recently been re-introduced to this amazing skin care company that I had almost forgotten about. I am so thankful to have rediscovered it because there is a lot of wonderful new products that I have been missing out on. One of these is the Botanical Effects Skin Care line.
To achieve natural, radiant skin, it is important to stay true to a skin care routine. This is made easy by using Mary Kay’s Botanical Effects™ product line. This simple, four-step skincare regimen can be personalized to every skin type with the three formulas for Dry, Normal and Oily skin. For my own skin, I have chosen the oily skin formula.
Botanical Effects™ Cleanse: Using lukewarm water, apply cleanser with fingertips, rotating and massaging, to remove impurities and dirt.
Botanical Effects™ Mask: Apply a quarter-size of the Mask to the neck, face and décolleté and massage the face to improve circulation and muscle tone.
Botanical Effects™ Freshen: Apply to face and neck with cotton ball, avoiding eye and mouth areas.
Botanical Effects™ Hydrate: Use a nickel-size amount and smooth on a clean face, neck and décolleté using upward strokes.
My Experience: I have been using the Mary Kay Botanical Effects Skin Care line for a little over a week now and have been greatly impressed at the condition of my skin. I definitely have less shine. My skin looks more toned and my pores seemed to have disappeared. My skin is well nourished and beautifully hydrated.
To compliment my new found facial radiance, I am also using Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara in black for long, dramatic lashes.
I lightly dust my face with Mary Kay Translucent Loose Powder to keep my shine at bay.
Finally, I apply Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Rock ‘n’ Red to create a fresh, almost summery look! ( I blot it with tissue a bit, but I still love the shade.)
Below is my fresh face courtesy of Mary Kay!
