I spent many a child's birthday party at Chuck. E Cheese as my children were growing up. Thankfully, my ten year old still enjoys it, or I would be a little sad. The weather is so blazing hot in Oregon right now, so this is a great time to go visit our local Chuck E. Cheese. I will never get tired of watching my son play all of the fun games and winning his tickets. He will only be little for so long, so I am enjoying it all while I can. I absolutely love Chuck E. Cheese pizza, and their salad bars offer a delicious variety of fresh salad fixings.
And the staff? They are always so polite, and friendly. I love it when Chuck E. himself comes out and greets the children. What more could you ask for in a place that caters to our precious little ones?

The first Chuck E. Cheese’s store opened in 1977 in San Jose, CA. Since then, the iconic family entertainment brand has made numerous changes including adding new, more adult-friendly menu items but remains America’s number one place for birthdays. Most recently, Chuck E. Cheese’s launched a program for children and families impacted by autism, called Sensory Sensitive Sundays. Throughout 40 years of the brand’s existence, Chuck E’ Cheese’s continues to be Where a Kid Can Be a Kid.
I have attended many birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese's as a child. I even remember when the mechanical characters were kind of scary! Regardless, many happy family memories were made there.
Each one of my own children have celebrated at least one birthday at Chuck E Cheese's, too. We have many a photo of a tearful child hiding their faces from the costumed mouse. Regardless, I STILL LOVE going there. I think their pizza is amazing.
Most of my babies are grown up now, but thankfully, my youngest, Braxton still loves Chuck E Cheese, and we are planning to go there on Friday!

I am a little late on this, but Happy 4th birthday to my sweet little booger, Braxton! We did celebrate at Chuck E Cheese, and spent a lot of money in doing so. Funny thing is, Braxton was so spooked out by all the characters in costumes that he didn't have that much fun for the money we spent. Dang it, I shoulda just had a generic birthday party at home and saved mucho moolah.
