Introduced in 1978, Edward & Sons’ Natural Instant Miso-Cup® pioneered the blending of simple, wholesome ingredients with unparalleled convenience. For the first time it became possible for a student, a traveler, or a truck driver to carry in their pocket a small packet of powder, which would transform in seconds into delicious and nutritious miso soup anywhere hot water was available. What a concept. I was sent a sample of Edward & Sons Spicy Ginger Miso-Cup to review.
Edward & Sons spicy ginger miso-cup comes in a new soft-pack, designed to offer you on-the-go convenience while retaining the incomparable taste of fresh miso soup. In a separate soup bits packet is the popular miso soup additions of green onions, carrots, seaweed and freeze-dried tofu (another wonderful soy food).
My Experience: I love to try new foods, and I usually love everything! I love the convenience and the easy preparation of this soup. The spices were good as well. The only thing I could not handle was the seaweed in my mouth. I tried to enjoy it, I really did. I am just not used to eating miso and was unable to enjoy the soup like I had hoped. If you already have a taste for miso soup, then you are certain to love it, sadly, I did not.
