A Monsterous Holiday
A young inventor named Andy, reaches out to his neighbor Doctor Frankenstein to help him win the upcoming science fair. But, finding the Doctor not to be at home, he meets the next best thing, Frankenstein’s monster; who turns out to be a teenager like himself. While Frankenstein takes Andy’s place on the football team, Andy uses Frankenstein’s knowledge and lab to find an invention for the fair. But when he inadvertently creates a monster of his own, they must work together to save the town and Halloween!

My Experience: Who care that Halloween is over? This movie is adorable and a must see for the entire family. I absolutely love the characters portrayed by some of my favorite actors. Jon Heder, Matthew Lillard and Sean Astin are hysterical! I found myself feeling sorry for Andy (the main character) because his dad wishes he was more of an athlete than a scientist, but there are also lots of fun scenarios to be enjoyed by the parents as well as the kids. I appreciate how it teaches a theme of accepting others that may be 'different.' My seven year old loved it so much that he has watched it several times now. It is such a cute movie!
