Has it really been 16 years since I gave birth to this sweet angel? My baby girl, Kendallyn, can date now! (But I am going to be VERY mean to all those boys.) Just kidding. That is her daddy's job. It was different when my son turned 16. I wasn't so worried. He is a guy. This is my princess. Kendallyn is truly an amazing young lady. She was born with a content little grin on her face. She was such an easy baby. Very bald, quiet and beautiful. She is still an easy going girl. She never complains. I don't know how I was blessed with such a wonderful daughter. She always has a positive attitude. She is always dancing, and she is always singing. I just love her!
It was snowing today on her birthday, so we had to cancel her party plans, because we live up on a hill and it was pretty icy. We took her to dinner, her dad and I. But I am going to help her plan a 'Sweet 16' party next month. I will even let her invite....gasp.....BOYS! I trust her, but of course, I don't trust boys:)
Happy Sweet 16, Kendallyn!!!! I love you! Thank you for being my daughter.
Wow, does time fly. My oldest baby girl, Kendi has turned fifteen this past Saturday. I cannot believe she is 15 already. I refuse to ever let her date! At least I have one more year before I must deal with that. On her birthday, January 15th, she spent the entire day at her cheerleading competition. I was so proud of her. She is one of the 'flyers' meaning she gets to be lifted up and tossed into the air to do stunts. She is my first athlete, so this is all new for me and pretty exciting. She'll be competing every Saturday for the next several weeks. All though my husband and I enjoyed attending and plan on being there to suppport our daughter, I think we shall get a babysitter for our youngest, Braxton. At the last tournament he was running up and down the bleachers and almost got onto the mat with the performers before we could get to him. He is definitely not an easy kid!

"Happy, Happy Birthday, Jonathan, dear! May happy days be coming to you all year!" I can't believe my firstborn is already 17. That definitely means I am old! Jonathan is a junior at Estacada H.S. He has a girlfriend he adores and is rocking the music world, practicin' hard every day.....now his life would be 'perfect' if he didn't have all that homework! Such is the life of any teen, right?
Well, Jonathan is a great, smart young man and everything a mother could wish for in a son. Happy, Happy Birthday to my boy!
