Bocandy is pretty simple. You sign up for either 3 months worth, 6 months worth, or recurring shipments of the best candies from around the world and then, at the beginning of every month, they ship them out to you in a bright red package.
A few days before it gets to you, they’ll send out an email with the tracking number so you know when it arrives plus a little bit of info about all the treats inside.
Sometimes they even include a bonus snack! Bocandy also caters to events and parties!
I received the July 2014 Bocandy shipment and this time, none of my kids were home to help me tear into the package! I dumped out the contents onto my lap, and did get to enjoy a few morsels of sweet confection before my kids got home and staked their claim on the goodies.
July’s Bocandy package contained Blueberry Licorice, Lemon Cream Filled Wafers, toffee, hard fruity candy, gum and fruity mints. My favorite items in this month’s package was the hard fruity candies. My husband loved the lemon wafers and my daughter loved the blueberry licorice, which was more like a fruit roll up than licorice.
The gum looked like Chicklets, and my daughter tried it, but reported that it tasted yucky, like tree sap. She googled the gum and it is oddly made of……you guessed it…..tree sap. Interesting!
I enjoyed the little coffee candies, but the biggest hit from this month’s variety of treats was the edible dollar bills! They were mostly fun to actually show people that you could eat them rather than being really tasty. (Even my dog would not eat them.) My seven year old son sure had fun tricking his friends!
