A Family, Beauty, Health and Lifestyle Blog
I have always been one to shave my legs, and I have never waxed them because I just can't stand to let my leg hairs grow out to a length suitable for waxing. I would be a total woman from the amazon, or perhaps a gorilla. But, I have tried waxing my peach-fuzzy face, and my annoying little dark hair mustache that, if left unattended, adorns my upper lip. I just love my genetics. (Not really) I come from some very hairy ancestors.
Anyway, there were times when I have used NAIR to get rid of my facial fuzz, and I ended up BURNING the heck out of my face. I had to go to school with a bright red burnt upper lip and facial area. People stared at me al day long like I had a disease. NAIR is just no good. Plus, if a hair removing product can burn your skin, what kind of chemicals are we exposing ourselves to? They cannot be good.
I was very excited to have discovered MOOM 100% Organic Hair Remover. I wanted to try a product that would take away my peach fuzz and my unbecoming lady-stache. I did not want to try to put hot wax on my face, nor did I want to shave, so I was eager to give MOOM a try, and I am so happy with the results! My face is smooth and hair free!
What is MOOM? (taken from their website)
MOOM is an Effective, easy to use and trouble-free, this organic hair remover has embraced ESSENTIAL OILS for their endless benefits in order to offer a real solution to the hair removal problem. MOOM is founded on the premise that the skin is a receptive organ that absorbs what you put on it including the harmful substances found in certain hair removers (resins, alcohol, wax, and chemicals).
Until now, all hair removers have concentrated on removing unwanted hair and have not cared about what damage they cause to the skin underneath. MOOM does not ignore the skin. In fact, after using MOOM the skin feels and looks smoother, younger and moisturized. MOOM is so pure it contains nothing but Organic Chamomile, Organic Sugar, Organic Lemon Juice, Organic Tea Tree Oil and Water. MOOM fabric strips are made form tightly woven polycotton stock. They are washable and reusable for years to come.
