 Meet the Beautiful Mommies Team

Welcome to Beautiful Mommies Blog

My name is Juliann and I am the mother to four amazing children, and grandmother to one precious little girl. I live in Oregon.

Beautiful Mommies blog was started in 2008, as I was raising my children.  I wanted to create an outlet in which I could express my thoughts on parenting, seek advice from other mothers, and discover great products and companies that make life being a mother easier. And to make all mommies feel as beautiful as they are!

I am PR Friendly and love working with great companies! Please email me at julin11@peoplepc.com

Meet Cassidy!

The Beautiful Mommies Team is growing! Cassidy is my sweet daughter-in-law, and gave birth to her sweet daughter in January.

Cassidy has joined up with Beautiful Mommies to bring a fresh perspective to this blog in regards to Mommyhood.

I will be reviewing products for pregnant mothers, new mothers, babies and children. I love writing articles that focus on keeping babies and children safe, healthy and adorable. I'm also on the hunt for products for new mommies! My daughter, Reylin Elaine, (born in January) inspires me to find the highest quality products made with love.

Meet Myelie!

My name is Myelie. I will be reviewing products that support people who live an active and healthy lifestyle, along with anything that will help bring growing families more convenience and happiness in everyday life. While I am not yet a mother, I am planning to have children in the near future.

For now, I am supporting my hard working husband, Austin who is active duty (Air Force) while he is engaged in a military tour which has moved us across the country. I love helping people discover wholesome, healthy, and happy products that they will love.

Email Myelie at:  MyelieBailey6@gmail.com

Meet Kenzie!

My name is Kenzie. I am a mother of two amazing children. My son Wesley is 4.5 and my daughter is 1. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Oregon. I was married at the age of 18 to the love of my life Shaun. We have been married for 8 years in July (2018).

My husband is such a hard worker as a school teacher for a charter school. The love he has for his students and own kids amazes me. We have a huge desire to create a homestead and to rely on the land for most resources. We love the country and hope to have a farm for our family. I will be reviewing things for mother’s with multiples. More than one child can be challenging, so anything to make a moms job easier is always a bonus.

Email Kenzie at: Udderly.us@gmail.com

How Microderm Works

Microdermabrasion works. If you are unconvinced, go to a professional spa and get a series of treatments. Once you are convinced on microdermabrasion, you will want the only professional-grade true microdermabrasion tool on the market: Riiviva. It is one of the best investments you can make in your health and beauty, and will yield incredible savings over just one series of treatments:

  • 1 series of 8 treatments at a typical spa: $1,000-$2,000
  • 1 Riiviva microderm device for unlimited microdermabrasion treatments: $300

Microdermabrasion Treatments

As we age, the skin cell turnover rate slows down, often leaving the skin looking dull and rough. Microdermabrasion removes the outer layer by gently polishing the skin with a high quality diamond tip while vacuuming the loosened skin cells away into its filter canister. Removing this outer layer of skin results in a smoother softer texture, enhances skin brightness, and improves dry dull skin.

Microdermabrasion is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sunspots, mild acne and scarring, stretch marks, keratosis pilaris, and improving the look of rough and bumpy skin.

Exfoliating Suction

Microdermabrasion is the process of abrasion and suction.  As the diamond tip surface passes over the skin, the device vacuums up the exfoliated particles and skin debris. The suction aspect of the treatment is as vital as the exfoliation aspect. The suction (with the abrasion) stimulates the dermis, causing a remodeling process in the skin to occur. As the skin repairs itself, it becomes thicker, smoother and looks healthier as a result. Riiviva microderm was designed with three levels of suction (low, medium, high) and 3 degrees of coarseness to accommodate varying levels of skin sensitivity.

I'm with Kelly... as I've aged, my face has become really red. According to two dermatologists I have seen about it, it will require laser work to fix. Since that's not in my budget, just keeping my skin healthy is a priority!
