I am a lifelong fan of everything Disney! I have been to Disneyland seven times throughout my life and Disney World once. My oldest daughter, Kendallyn took a trip this past Summer to Disney World with her cousin Levi, my husband, my parents and my brother for her high school graduation trip. This was also Levi’s graduation trip as well as his very first visit to Disney World. They had so much fun and made many wonderful memories!

Last month, I was chosen to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration at my home. I received a box full of amazing goodies that would help me to celebrate my family’s love of Disney! There were party favors, games and decorations. There were invitations, treats and party ideas galore! I got busy planning my party and was very excited to host.
Unfortunately, for most of the month of February, my family had one sickness after another (I had a horrible case of strep) and plans for the party fell through. I was very disappointed.
At least Braxton, my son got to show his #DisneySide with his best friend, Kaden, and we had a small celebration with just the two of them. (And baby cousin, Wesley.) We ate cupcakes that I made, because my Mickey Mouse cake turned out horrible! I completely destroyed it (accidentally!) It turned out as a lump of mush. Anyway, the boys still had fun playing some of the games and just hanging out watching Disney movies.
The boys are trying to play their Disney “Go Fish” card game, but baby Wes kept coming between them. Look at Uncle Scott in the background trying to crash the party!
And no Disney Party would be complete without snuggling some of Braxton’s favorite Disney characters!
Although my Disney Side party did not end up being all that I would have liked it be, we still had some fun. And guess what? My family is planning a trip to Disneyland for this coming summer! Yay! In fact just this evening we had a family planning meeting to plan out our trip and hash out the details of where we are going to stay and nailing down the date. I am so excited!
I really believe that my family is always and forever going to be celebrating our #DisneySide in one way or another for as long as we live! Stay tuned for pictures of our upcoming Disneyland vacation!
