A special date night doesn’t always have to consist of going somewhere fancy. Why not enjoy a “Date Night In” with Sugarlands Distilling Co. beverages. There is so much joy to be found in the Sugarlands!
One of my favorite ‘date nights in’ with my husband is renting a movie and having a bunch of our favorite snacks on hand as well as a luxuriously delightful selection of beverages from Sugarlands Distilling Co.
Sugarlands Distilling Company produces quality, craft spirits. The distillery in downtown Gatlinburg, Tenn. is a popular attraction where guests are invited to taste samples of their award-winning spirits, take behind the-scenes tours of the production, and purchase their favorite spirits, mountain merchandise, and apparel.
That sounds amazing, doesn’t it? It sounds like a fun place to visit. I’ll need to put that on my destination bucket list. Thankfully, the wonderful folks at Sugarlands sent me a few of their best spirits to try out. They came in the cutest Mason jars. I hated to even open them because they were so dang cool looking.
I received Patti’s Wild Mayhaw Moonshine, Appalachian Sippin’ Cream in Electric Orange Cream, Butter Pecan Cream and Dark Chocolate Coffee Cream liqueur to review. To be honest, I don’t know much about spirits and shines, but I am learning!
Here is a little bit of information about each one of these delightful beverages:
Electric Orange Sippin’ Cream~ Electric Orange Sippin’ Cream combines a bright, fresh orange zest with the smooth taste of vanilla cream. This vibrant, creamy spirit will have you wondering if you’re drinking a melted cream pop. It brings back happy childhood memories of hot summer days, eating melty orange cream cycles on my front lawn with my siblings.Oh my goodness, it is so delicious!
Dark Chocolate Coffee Sippin’ Cream~ This Dark Chocolate Coffee Sippin’ Cream grabs your attention with the scent of brown sugar and toffee. The combination of creamy milk, medium roast coffee, and rough-cut dark chocolate will awaken your taste buds.It certainly awakened mine! I love all things coffee-flavored! It has such a rich, luxurious flavor.
Butter Pecan Sippin’ Cream~ This Butter Pecan cream gives off a smooth aroma of toasted praline and vanilla. The buttery, toasted pecan flavor rounds out into a lingering brûlée aftertaste satisfying even the most demanding sweet tooth. As for me, it tastes like my favorite ice cream! It made me feel so very indulged. I think this one is my favorite!
Patti’s Wild Mayhaw Moonshine~ Patti’s Wild Mayhaw moonshine combines Hawthorn berries and pure cane sugar. This delicate flavor is fruity like an apple but leaves a tart zing on the tip of your tongue.
I had honestly never had moonshine before, but I was curious. It has a unique flavor, and I really like it. My husband wasn’t too sure about it.
It was so much fun trying all of these delicious drinks from Sugarlands! My husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely sampling the flavors and just being together on our unique “‘date night-in!” I won’t go into detail about the rest of our date night, but thanks to Sugarlands Distilling Company, it was a night worth remembering…..(Now, if only I could recall what we did!)
At least I remember how much I loved the unique and delicious flavors of the spirits and shine!
