Start off the new year with some simple hair trends from KMS Global Stylist, Simon Miller. Below are a few of his latest tips and tricks for 2017.
1.Create a slicked back look by blow drying the hair backward with a round boar bristle brush to create volume at the roots. Then, go over that with a flat iron to straighten it backwards, starting at the forehead. After, apply KMS California’s TAMEFRIZZ de-frizz oil to prevent frizz and create shine. Last, spray with KMS California’s FREESHAPE 2-in-1 styling + finishing spray to finish the look.
2.Create a sleek ponytail, parting hair in the middle and pulling it back into a tight pony. Then, spritz hair with KMS California FREESHAPE 2-in-1 finishing + styling spray to create extra hold.
3.Create a dual textured look by first giving hair a side part and adding effortless, loose curls using KMS FREESHAPE hot flex spray and style curls that will hold. Then, add on the opposite side of the dominate way the hair is parted, a braid that will add additional texture to the look.
4.Create natural volume by starting at the root. First, add a curl product such as KMS California CURLUP perfecting lotion to wet or damp hair starting at the roots. Then, at the roots pin hair up and allow to dry naturally. When dry, remove pins for natural volume. You can clean up with a curling iron if you feel necessary.
