Ellis Faas is one of my favorite cosmetics lines. I am completely intrigued by their sleek, unique packaging, and their formulas are the highest of quality.
It was interesting to learn that Ellis Faas is a make-up artist whom Vogue Paris has called “one of the most influential make-up artists of her generation”. After her graduation from high-school, Faas did a professional course in photography, and always used herself as her model.
I received samples of the Ellis Faas Spring gift set. This fabulous gift set includes Creamy Lips in Hazelnut, Creamy Eyes in Deep Black, and Creamy Eyes in Teal.
The Creamy Lips Hazelnut color is the perfect shade for my complexion. It glides on my lips smoothly and keeps them hydrated all day long. The formula does rub off with eating and drinking, but that’s okay. I love reapplying it because it feels so good on my parched lips, and only one coat is needed because it is so richly pigmented with this gorgeous color! I am definitely smitten with it!
The Creamy Eyes eye shadows are also gorgeous, and I am enjoying playing around with the colors. I can wear them light, or add more for intensity. For now I enjoy the more subtle look. (Shown above.)
