Beauty Box 5 May 2015 Review

Beauty Box 5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers a box filled with 5 cosmetic samples to your door every month. Aimed at introducing women to new cosmetic products and educating them on best practices, Beauty Box 5 scours the market to find the best products for your lifestyle.

How it Works: You simply select the subscription plan that works best for you. Every month you’ll be sent a mixture of carefully selected travel, deluxe and full-size samples.

My daughters and I love Beauty Box 5. It is so much fun! It is like Christmas every time the box arrives. Each month there is a card included, which details all of the contents of the box. This month’s theme is is S.O.S., which stands for Super Outstanding Skin.

Here is a breakdown of the products that came in the month’s box as well as my thoughts about each one:

Bio Swiss Stainless Steel Mini Tweezer~

These Red Bio Swiss 2-1/4″ long tweezers come with included red end-capped transparent carry tube. The precision-aligned slant head tweezer tips are constructed of quality stainless steel. This discreet mini size is a perfect on-the-go tool with matching carry tube.

I love these tiny tweezers! I am always in the need for a pair because I am always finding a stray eyebrow hair or an unwelcome grey hair to pluck.

Essenza Luxury Hand Soap~

This hand soap refreshes your skin in fragrant luxury. It is formulated with pure essential oils, shea butter, aloe, and mild moisturizing cleansers.

I like to keep this hand soap in my purse to use in public restrooms. It smells wonderful and is not harsh on my hands as some sopas can be.

Styli-Style Glide-On Blush Stick~

This light, creamy formula gives your complexion a natural touch of color for a healthy, youthful glow. Stays fresh for hours. Easy twist-up applicator.

I received the color ‘Bittersweet’. It is a beautiful bronzy pink that gives me the perfect pop of color to highlight my cheeks and eyelids. I love it!

Dermalogica Active Moist~

A lightweight, oil-free lotion for daily moisture protection to actively combat surface dehydration. This sheer, easy-to-apply formula contains Silk Amino Acids and a unique combination of plant extracts to help smooth and improve the skin’s texture.

This is a very nice and gentle moisturizer. I keep it in my purse and apply it whenever I am finished washing my hands to seal in the moisture and keep my hands looking young. This is a very small sample, so it will not last long.

Coastal Scents Classic/Synthetic Brush~

This professional-quality eye brush has soft, natural and synthetic fibers to distribute pigment precisely and evenly.

I really love this brush! It makes my eyeshadow application look amazing!

All in all, I thought this month’s box was a lot of fun and full of useful beauty products that my daughters and I are enjoying!
