Spring is officially here, and for those looking to jump on their spring cleaning, I wanted to share a few great cleaning hacks to try out. These cleaning hacks are courtesy of TheSoul Publishing – an award-winning publishing co. behind one of the top five YouTube channels, 5-Minute Crafts.
Tangerine Peel Turned Microwave Cleaner: Next time you need to deep clean your microwave, consider using a tangerine peel to help with the job! Simply peel a tangerine and place the peels in the center of the microwave dish. Turn the microwave on high for 3 minutes. Once done, carefully remove the tangerine peels (CAUTION: they will be hot) and wipe the inside of the microwave down with a damp sponge. Your microwave will be polished to perfection!
Sweeping Hack: If you’re tired of struggling to sweep up dirt into a dustpan, try this quick and easy hack! After sweeping your floor and gathering a pile of dirt to be swept up, use a spray bottle to quickly spray your dustpan with water. Now, when you go to sweep up the pile of dirt, the dust and crumbs will stick directly onto the dustpan, making it a quick and easy pick up. Wipe the dustpan off to clean and you’re all set!
No More Senseless Scrubbing: Got dirty pans that don’t seem to get clean no matter how much you wash them? Simply take your greasy, dirty pot or pan and sprinkle baking soda across the entire area that needs to be cleaned. Next, take a spray bottle filled with vinegar and cover the baking soda. Allow 5 minutes for it to sit, rub the mixture in with a cleaning brush, then wipe the pan down with a sponge. Quickly and easily, the grease and dirt will wipe right off the pan, leaving it clean and good as new!
