Nuts about Beauty!
Not only can you reap the health benefits from ingesting nuts, they also have positive effects on the skin. I have put together a list of some of the best beauty products that contain nuts as active ingredients:

John Paul DeJoria is proud to launch Marula by John Paul Selects, formulated with cold pressed Marula that is wild harvested from individually selected Marula nuts. Most Marula is impure and mass produced using the entire fruit, skin, nut and kernel together then processed with heat and chemicals to extract the beauty oil. Marula by John Paul Selects is harvested by sanctioned co-operatives in Africa to ensure that only the purest kernels are used in each product.
Yu-Be Foaming Skin Polish ($18)
Fine grains of rice bran combine with bamboo and gentle cleansing agents to create a luxuriously foaming scrub that washes away dry skin. Extracts of ginger root and ginseng tone and balance the skin, while green tea, geranium oil and camphor provide a soothing, refreshing sensation.
Mad Hippie Antioxidant Facial Oil ($24.99 )
This preservative-free anti-oxidant oil hydrates and protects against photo-aging. Formulated with argan oil to heal scar tissue, reduce inflammation and protect the skin, sunflower seed oil to naturally moisturize, and blueberry extract to promote circulation and aid in the reduction of redness and flushing.
emerginC micro-scrub ($38)
A gentle but effective micro-scrub containing natural walnut, apricot and almond along with soothing plant extracts to help remove dead skin cells, helping to reveal a more vibrant, even-toned complexion.
Use 1 to 3 times per week. Apply on wet skin, gently massage for up to two minutes, then remove thoroughly.
My new favorite go-to facial moisturizer for night time is the Mad Hippie Antioxidant Facial Oil. (shown above) With the colder weather, my face gets much drier and tends to flake a bit. I apply this amazing facial oil after cleansing, all over my face, neck and upper chest area. My skin stays luxuriously hydrated throughout the next day and looks radiant.
For daytime, I love the Pure Marula Facial Lotion. It offers daily moisture balance and improved skin tone while promoting collagen production. It is perfectly light for me to wear under my foundation, yet it protects my skin from getting dried out from those icy breezes we have been experiencing.
