This social distancing stuff is getting old! Sometimes I get all dressed up with no place to go! That’s okay, though. I definitely have more time for beauty treatments! Since I have been unable to visit my hairdresser, I am taking extra care of my hair. My hair is extremely dry and prone to breakage because it is color treated. I do not know when the next time will be that I can get it cut, so I make sure that I am using only the highest quality hair care products to keep it healthy!
It all begins with washing with my favorite shampoo. I am currently using CHI Rose Hip Oil Protecting Shampoo.
Gently cleanse color-treated hair while preserving tone and intensity. Rose hip oil, Vitamin C and antioxidants prevent color loss while increasing shine and vibrancy.
I love the rich lather of this color protecting shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling amazingly clean without stripping it of essential oils. It also helps to give my hair a beautiful shine, and I love the fragrance!
Since my hair is always on the dry side (and because it is damaged from being colored and bleached) I use a deep moisturizing hair treatment following every wash.

I usually shampoo my hair two-three times per week. After each shampoo, I use this mask in place of conditioner, due to the fact that my dry hair is in need of the extra moisturizing treatment. I haven’t developed any split ends at all during this quarantine!
To style my hair, I need a firm holding hairspray, and I love a shine spray for a finishing touch. Again, I only use salon quality products because I want my hair to look and feel its very best.
Most people believe that all hair spray is the same, and that the cheap stuff at the corner store is just as good as the higher quality/professional formulas. Well, learning from experience, NO it is NOT. The cheap formulas are cheap for a reason. They contain ingredients that are not only terrible for your hair, but they leave behind a sticky residue and do not hold your hair in place. Cheaper hair spray can actually damage your hair. My hair is already prone to damage, so I ONLY use high quality, trustworthy brands that improve the quality of my hair, such as Biosilk.
I use BioSilk Silk Therapy Finishing Spray Firm Hold. I don’t really curl or straighten my hair these days, but I do like it to stay in place after I brush and style it. (Otherwise it would be hanging in my eyes all day, and even though I am staying at home, I want to look ‘presentable’ to my family).

I love to finish up my hairstyle (even on days that I am stuck at home) with a really good shine spray. It makes me feel good when my hair looks shiny! My all-time-favorite hair shine spray is CHI Shine Infusion.
This thermal active shine spray instantly gives a polished shine without the added weight or oils. I love how it adds a gleaming glow to my hair after I have styled it. It even makes my damaged hair look healthy. It doesn’t have a strong fragrance, either.
