Ride the Holiday Train! Dinosaur Train Lift-the-Flap Board Book and DinDVD Review

Dinosaur Train is a fun filled adventurous show on PBS that my little boy (who is six years old) loves.

Dinosaur Train embraces and celebrates the fascination that preschoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains, while encouraging basic scientific thinking skills as the audience learns about life science, natural history and paleontology. Young viewers can join Buddy and his adoptive Pteranodon family on a whimsical voyage through prehistoric jungles, swamps, volcanoes and oceans, as they unearth basic concepts in life science, natural history and paleontology.

I was able to review the Dinosaur Train A to Z dvd, which my son loves. It features many of the episodes that he has seen on the PBS program, including: 

The Call of the Wild, Corythosaurus, Fast Friends, One Smart Dinosaur, Have You Heard About the Herd? It is 110 minutes of adventures for your child's viewing pleasure.

which is such a cute holiday story of the main character, Buddy, and his dinosaur friends who are very excited that their favorite holiday, Winter Solstice is coming. They travel on the holiday train to the North Pole where the Pteranodon family has the chance to build snow dinosaurs, play a prehistoric game of ice hockey, and meet some new friends.
