Dorman_Pacific.jpgI have been in need of a cute sun hat to protect my face from the sun.  My problem with sun protection headwear is that I feel like I will look goofy!  I have never worn hats in my entire life, and have had zero experience in choosing any kind of a hat, until I encountered Dorfman Pacific's 2012 line of sun protection hats.  I felt more comfortable with the visors because then I knew that I could just stick my hair into a ponytail, put on the visor and GO.

I chose The Scala Sun Visor – The Raffia Reflection.  I especially love the fact that it doesn't make me feel like I am trying to make a huge fashion statement, it is just cute and provides my face with plenty of shade and the protection my skin needs beyond just my sunscreen. It is also easy to toss into your beach bag to take along without the worry of crushing it.

 

About the Scala Sun Visor:
 
It features a 4 inch brim and the cotton-raffia mix is very striking. One size fits most and its Velcro (R) backstrap can be adjusted to fine tune the fit and positioning. It comes in 11 great colors–all mixed with the natural straw. Black, white and khaki are fashion-basics that work in every wardrobe and the fuchsia and med blue are accent favorites.
