I have had to take a brief 'break' from my blogging as of late. I have hardly had the time to breathe, let alone do many product reviews lately (although I am itching to get back to that, because I hate to let anything slide.)
Life has been very busy as I am getting ready for my oldest son's graduation, as well as keeping my pre-schooler happy and occupied every day. With my soon to be graduate, it means planning the details of his graduation party and trying to get everything in to place. Tickets for his graduation? Mental note: Must call the high school tomorrow and ask about that. His graduation announcements? OH CRAP! I never ordered any, so I must hustle my bustle to get myself to the local printer in our small town and MAKE MY OWN, dang it. That means selecting a few good pictures of my son and figuring out a nice layout and some wording. BUT, then again, we have NO relatives to send them too, anyways, so……..why am I doing this? My son doesn't seem to care much about it anyway, but it is so that he can be acknowleged for this major milestone in his life, and I love my boy, so I will do my best.
And then, since we are going on our second MUCH NEEDED week of sunshine, I am almost doing backflips to keep my five-year-old doing OUTDOORS activities, like visiting every park in a 20 mile vincinity. I know I don't HAVE to do this, but there is nothing that makes me happier than to see my little boy play, climb, dig in the sand and interact with other kids. We have had serious CABIN FEVER when it RAINED ALL of April, and I am trying to milk this SUNSHINE for all it is worth.
Another thing I need to focus on is my second oldest daughter is graduating from 8th grade, and I MUST make certain everything is special for her, too. That means we need to find her a pretty dress ASAP!
AND, my husband has been out of town for work, so I AM ON MY OWN doing all of this planning and thinking and I am NOT GREAT at this stuff, so I am OVERWHELMED sometimes with things that others Moms probably find EASY. I know my older sister is practically Martha Stewart, so I compare myself to her quite a lot, and I WISH I wouldn't, but I do!
Alright, I must stop rambling, here. Please wish me luck with everything!
My soon to be gratuate, and my almost Kindergartener
