Summertime Tantrums

I adore my litte boy.  Really I do.  There are the good moments, the hugs smoochy kisses and really fun times……but, today is not one of those days.  Braxton is almost five, well, he turns five in September, but his tantrums aren't getting any better.  Braxton is kicking, screaming and all that good stuff that comes with those tantrums.  I'd love to blame it on this overcast day, but it isn't as if he's feeling homebound.  I take this child out daily for some fun of some sort, like yesterday, we spent the day at my brother's apartment swimming for about three hours.  Maybe Braxton is exhausted from all the fun?  Nah.  He's just a very 'spirited' little boy?  Maybe.  But oh, man………he's driving this mama nuts this glorious day:)  On the bright side of things, my two teenage girls have been very helpful in taking their little brother off my hands when they see I am up to my eyeballs in Braxton induced mommy stress.  Thank heavens for big sisters!  I owe them big time!
