I am sitting here at home alone. It is quiet. There is no blaring TV. And I am happy. I decided it would be much more beneficial for me to stay home and get a break, as well as to let my husband take the kids to his parents house for this eloiquent ‘holiday.’ SuperBowl. What is SuperBowl, really? I don’t know. Some football event, I guess. I have never, ever paid any attention to sports of almost any kind. Well, I dated most of my high school football team members, if that counts. I certainly didn’t come from a sporty family. I did marry a former high-school football player, although not from my high school. (What can I say, I loved big athletic, muscular guys.)
Anyway, I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. My husband and kids aren’t really in tune with it either, but just really went for the food. I am not that hungry. Staying home suits me just fine.
