I hadn’t thought much about natural power foods before. I got in touch with NAVITAS Naturals and they sent me a couple of their products to try out and a booklet called, ‘Power Foods for the Modern Lifestyle.’
I had certainly never tried Organic Sweet Raw Cacao Nibs before. They are bits of the cacao bean which is used to make chocolate, but in its natural form. The cacao bean itself is a tad bitter, but these cacao bits are processed with chocolate liquor sweetened with cane sugar, so they taste great. The significance of nibbling on Organic Sweet Raw Cacao Nibs is that they are very high in anti-oxidants and Magnesium. This company also sent me a Cacao lip balm which feels wonderfull on my lips. This buttery lip moisturizer is made from the pure, cold-pressed oil of the cacao bean, along with a rich mixture of nature’s most skin-friendly oils . It was fun and interesting to have been able to try these products. I learned some interesting facts about natural power foods.
I learned that Cacao is a tremendously beneficial superfood, containing a wide spectrum of minerals and phytonutrients.
