Potty Training Victory!

My little boy just decided yesterday that he was finished with diapers for good. Braxton has pretty much mastered the ‘going pee’ thingy a long time ago, but not the poo. I knew he’d go poo on the toilet when he felt ready, and all of a sudden, he was ready. He does not wantanybody in the bathroom with him while he does ‘his thing’ because he does NOT want any help. Well, he DOES need help with wiping, needless to say. Braxton would rather just pull up his pants and go on his merry way, but we all know how messy and gross that would be. The only disaster we had so far was yesterday morning, Braxton fell into the great big ol’ toilet after standing back to view his ‘masterpiece’ as I wiped him, and he decided he needed to go more. Well, he failed to put down the big potty seat and slipped butt first onto his poo with his bare bum. Splash and Smash!!!! Uggghhhhhh what a mess! But I guess that is all part of this potty training adventure Braxton has embarked upon.
