I have a headache. All I have been wanting to do this evening is sleep. I sent my husband shopping for the birthday cake and gifts for my little Braxton who turns three tomorrow. Oh my sweet baby!!!! It seems only yesterday that I concieved him without knowing it.
And yes, he still breastfeeds! I don’t know how that will ever end. Sometimes it gets to be overwhelming when he wants to do it all day long, or all night long……but other than that it is the most precious time in our lives. I don’t want to let go of it, Braxton does not want to let go of it. And if it will get him through yet another flu season, then that is very well worth it to me. He has hardly ever been sick and has NEVER vomited. Breastfeeding is a personal choice and other than our boy hogging up our queen sized bed, it is a bond that I love having with my sweet ‘baby’ boy. He will grow up much to quickly and I will miss feeling his downy soft baby hair caressing my lips and cheeks as he nuses. I had better stop typing this now, because the thought of him growing up is gonna make me cry.
