Today is saturday

I declined a trip with my husband, children and younger brother to go rafting today, (mild rapids.) Instead I stayed home, cleaned up the house a bit and just enjoyed some much needed time to myself. Tomorrow, we have church at 10-1pm, and then must meet at 3 pm downtown for my daughter, eleven year old Myelie to perform in a short film she was chosen to do out of 25 other kids. She will only be paid 25.00, but heck, what kid would not want to be an actress? Especially when she was hand picked by a producer. ANyway, I am proud of her. Only problem is, we’ll need a babysitter for Braxton, but that is okay. It will work out. We have been involved with Actors in ACtion…(a local casting agency for about five years.) I have done about five different films in the background, but have only seen one! I still want to see myself as a bartender….which I was three years ago on a big screen that i don’t think they finished…with Charlie Hoffheimer from Black Hawk Down, and another in which I played an insane asylum patient for a small budget film. I have not done much since Braxton was born. Hey, it is not much pay, but the experience is soooo much fun just to see what goes on behind the scenes. I’ll post a link sometime to the one I do have footage of with Chris Klien in ‘Valley of Light’ as a bus passenger. Myelie and I and my brother Shaun had a blast on that set!!! ANyway, it is a beautiful day and I should be going outside to harvest corn, but I am deathly afreaid of praying mantises!!!!!!!!
