My little Braxton is finally asleep. Whew! Now I can take a shower and wash my unwashed- for-days mommy hair.
I took Braxton down to the creek today, only to have him wanting to be carried. I slipped with him in my arms because it was so steep and I was wearing flip-flops. He got a couple of scratches, I got my share, and my right ankle, which did not hurt at first so much is getting more painful as the day progresses. I have no idea why.
Also, Braxton picked up a toy plasctic gun that one of the older kids had left out, and I had no clue it was loaded, until Braxton ‘shot’ at the sky and I saw something come out of the ‘gun.’
Braxton also fell about three feet from a part of our yard that has raised railroad ties and he actually did an accidental flip off of. It actually looked like a well-choreographed movie stunt after which he was immediately on his feet exclaiming, "I OKAY!!" I swear a guardian angel must have been watching over him.
Okay, I need my shower now and a painkiller for my footie.
