CONFESSIONS OF A PLASTIC SURGEON- Shocking Stories about Butts, Boobs and Beauty (My Latest Favorite Read!)

I am completely fascinated by the idea of plastic surgery, and I have always been intrigued by the thought of bigger breasts. Why not? After breastfeeding four babies, I deserve a nice firm set of boobs! In fact, I am saving my money for breast augmentation.

I was excited to be given the chance to review CONFESSIONS OF A PLASTIC SURGEON-Shocking Stories about Butts, Boobs and Beauty. I read the entire book in under five hours, (on my flight to Hawaii last week.) I could not put it down. It’s already listed as a best-seller on Amazon, and I can see why!

This intricately detailed account of the life of Dr. Thomas Jeneby, one of San Antonio’s most respected and beloved board-certified plastic surgeons, will keep you hooked! He takes you behind the scenes of his successful practice and tells all, especially the “stuff” nobody tells medical school residents when they decide to go into plastic surgery! In this book, Dr. Jeneby describes his every day encounters with patients, and some of them are pretty crazy! He describes meeting with one of his patients who was complaining that one of her nipples (after her breast augmentation) was two millimeters lower than the other, and she was threatening to sue him! Judging by his increasing clientele and his many happy patients, (a few of whose life-changing transformations are detailed in this book) Dr. Jeneby is obviously doing something right!

Dr. Jeneby helps women (and men) achieve the body of their dreams with his talent, skill and dedication to his profession. Dr. Jeneby describes how he performs the “mommy makeover” which sounds very intriguing to me! Can you imagine? Dr. Jeneby not only enlarges and/or firms the breasts, but also suctions the fat out of your tummy and back, and injects it into your buttocks! It seems that there is nothing he cannot do to give a woman the body of her dreams.

I would love to meet Dr. Jeneby myself, because he seems to have a great sense of humor, which I am certain is necessary in a profession such as his. I wouldn’t hesitate to seek him out for my future ‘nips and tucks.’ I wish I could say that I have body positivity, but alas, I do not. There are many things I wish I could change about my body, and that is what made me pick up the book, CONFESSIONS OF A PLASTIC SURGEON. It is definitely not all glamour behind the scenes. The world of plastic surgery is actually quite bloody, but I feel that I am much more aware of what goes on in the operating room, thanks to Dr. Jeneby. Now that I have read CONFESSIONS OF A PLASTIC SURGEON, I feel that I know more of what to expect, and it doesn’t seem as scary to go under the knife. I would completely trust Dr. Jeneby!

I was also inspired by Dr. Jeneby’s message to never give up on your dreams of success. Dr. Jeneby came from humble beginnings, and refused to stop until he was where he is at now, a confident, highly sought after, respected plastic surgeon.
