As you may or may not have known, January 24 was National Peanut Butter Day! Peanut butter lovers from all over the world celebrate this ‘nutty’ holiday to show appreciation for the wonders of peanut butter. One of my favorite snacks is sliced apples dipped in peanut butter. My twelve year old son, Braxton loves nothing more than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for his school lunches.
My family’s favorite brand of peanut butter is Jif. One thing I have learned about peanut butter over the years, is that the brand you choose makes all of the difference in how good the peanut butter tastes. I remember one year, I sent my husband to the store to grab a jar of peanut butter, and he came home with the store brand. (I guess it was on sale. Shame on him!) I tasted it and knew immediately that it could not even come close to being compared to Jif. Jif peanut butter surpasses all other brands with its freshness, flavor and quality. No other brand even comes close to the rich, dry roasted peanut flavor that my family loves. Even the texture is perfect.
In celebration of National Peanut Butter Day, I was sent a wonderful variety of Jif peanut butter products to enjoy.
Whether you are a fan of creamy or crunchy peanut butter, Jif has something for everyone. My children prefer Jif’s creamy peanut butter, while I enjoy the crunchy kind. I usually have jars of both in my cupboard on any given day.
I had never tried Jif’s Natural Creamy peanut butter before, and was excited to get the chance to try it out. Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread contains 90% peanuts, and lower sodium. I am not sure what the difference is between it and the regular creamy peanut butter, but it contains all natural ingredients and I guess it spreads easier. It is still very tasty!

And, with how picky he is, I am happy to know that I can rely on Jif peanut butter for simple school lunches and after school snack ideas my son will actually eat.
