Beautiful Sunday

My Internet is down for awhile, and so to my inconvenience I can only use it sparingly, like tonight as we are at my parents house for dinner. Thank heavens they live close by. I am thankful to have such a great family, (not just for the internet, of course:) This evening we were celebrating my new sister-in-law’s 19th birthday. In my family, birthdays are a big deal. My sweet mom always makes certain that everybody feels special on their birthdays. It is a beautiful evening. We went to church this morning and now my dad is playing a mean game of badminton outside with my husband and kids. (I should be out there, too, but here I am on the internet catching up on email and my beloved blog.) Anyway, I am thankful that my dad is such a kid at heart. He loves to play with his grandchildren. My mom is a kid at heart, too. She is just very playful and fun to be around. I love my parents very much! My children LOVE my parents, too. They are the bestest grandparents a kid could ever ask for:)
