One Busy Day
By Lola M. Schaefer
Illustrated by Jessica Meserve
All Mia wants is for her big brother, Spencer, to play with her. But he’s always too busy! So Mia paints, and dances, and explores, and keep busy all by herself. But with a little imagination and a lot of love, Mia might just be able to show Spencer that it’s a lot more fun to be busy together.
My Experience: I received a copy of this book for review. My son, Braxton absolutely loves it! It is such a cute story that is easily readable for children ages 3-5. Of course my son is seven, but he still loves the story and the colorful illustrations. He brought this book to school with him and the teacher read it to the class.
Such a cute story about a little sister wishing her big brother would play with her and then finally she gets her wish when she involves herself in creative activities that makes her brother take notice and to see that his little sister is not such a bad playmate after all.
