I am so excited whenever I discover another amazing hair care company that specializes in making my hair beautiful, and yes, SEXY. My hair is one of my main focuses of beauty. If my hair does not look good, then I will not even leave the house. That sounds so shallow, but it is so true!
PK by Pearson Knight is Pearson Knight is an independent, free-spirited hair stylist + style maker who has created beauty products that reflect his passion for high-fashion and fierce love for effortless, natural + raw beauty.
That sounds like just the kind of hair styling products that I seek! Products that make me look effortless and natural, so I knew that PK by Pearson Knight products would be right up my alley.
I was sent Beach Grit and Texture Mud to help me achieve the look that I desire. Below is my description of each one, and my thoughts about the products.
Beach Grit Volume and Texture Spray
Sexy, effortless, casual style that is always a good look on any day. Mist on damp or dry hair from root to tip for easy, undone texture and enhanced natural waves. Or, just hit the roots for extra volume.
I am in love with Beach Grit! First of all, it smells heavenly! I apply it to my hair when it is dry, and spray it all over, and then I start scrunching it. This adds delightful beachy, wavy texture and shine. I love it!
Texture Mud
For effortless texture and hold, apply into palms, then work through damp or dry hair to define and shape as desired.
I always enjoy a texturizing product in my hair styling routine because I like to tame the baby hairs closest to my face. I also use the mud to ‘flare out’ and add volume to my bangs and my sides. (This is similar to how I styled my hair in the 80’s.) This product gives my hair amazing, yet flexible hold without any flakiness.
I can count on PK products to ensure that I never have another ‘bad hair day.’ Another plus is that my hair is done in minutes, and I am always thrilled with the results!
