I love Clarins. Clarins is a brand that I have always admired, and every product I have ever tried from this brand has been heavenly. I was excited to get the chance to review Clarins Double Serum, which, by the way has been on the market for one whole year now!
A serum is a vital step in my daily anti-aging skin care routine. Whether I am getting ready in the morning, or washing my face at night before bed, I always begin with a thorough cleansing. After cleansing, (both morning and night) I always pat my face dry, and immediately follow with a serum before adding my moisturizer, or any further products.
Why is a serum important? A serum is a crucial product because it contains a high concentration of powerful ingredients. Clarins Double serum contains over twenty skin-loving plant ingredients, such as Tumeric extract, which in itself is the best thing ever for our bodies, from the inside out!
Clarins Double Serum is even better than the leading serums. It is a two-in-one serum that is part water, part oil. Water and oil are two essential elements that healthy skin needs. The oil and water are activated upon dispensing, mixing the two separate phases together with a simple pump. I dispense a few drops of each to the palm of my hand and mix them with my fingertips before applying the serum to my face, neck and upper chest. A little goes a long way.
I am amazed at how this formula does not feel greasy on my skin. It absorbs very nicely, and makes my skin feel perfectly hydrated. In fact, I could even stop there, and not follow up with my moisturizer, because my skin feels as if I already have moisturizer on! I have never used a serum that has made my skin feel so amazing.
After using Clarins Double serum as a part of my daily skin care regimen for about 3 weeks now, I am enjoying firmer skin that looks younger and just glows!
