If you haven’t heard, Degusta Box is my favorite monthly food subscription box. It comes filled with tasty foods and treats to try out. Degusta Box never disappoints!
My first Degusta Box of the new year was full of deliciousness. The theme this month was Dinner Party, and it was full of everything needed for a successful dinner bash with family and friends. There is something for everyone!
I will start with the Product of the Month,which is La Tortilla Factory, with their Non-GMO Low Carb Flour Tortillas – Soft Taco Size, and below is a bit of information to introduce this brand: The La Tortilla Factory tortilla is low in carbs and calories and high in fiber, protein, and flavor. With only 4g net carbs, each of these tortillas is packed with 3g of protein, and only 45 calories. Plus, they’re made with unbleached wheat flour and no GMOs.
I actually used them for my son’s school lunch. I had run out of bread, and simply spread the tortilla with whipped cream cheese, added thinly sliced ham, and rolled it up. I tasted one and it was delicious! Next time I make soft tacos for Taco Tuesday, I will be using this brand.
SMASHMALLOW SMASHCRISPY is no ordinary crispy rice treat. This epic smash up is made from only the very best simple ingredients and packed with flavor for a tasty twist on a classic. A guilt-free, every-day, any-time of day treat for your taste buds that’s just like you remember — only better. I ate the Cinnamon flavor, and my son took the strawberry flavor in his school lunch. They taste okay, if you are a fan of rice crispies treats.
Chocolat Frey– With more than 25% nuts and made with authentic Swiss chocolate, these premium bars are a delight for all nut and chocolate lovers. I received the dark chocolate hazelnut bar. I love hazelnuts, so this was a real treat for me!
Partners Crackers– These delicious, slow-baked crackers are made with real honest ingredients, like buttermilk, extra virgin olive oil, and a touch of sea salt. They’re perfect for snacking on their own or pair them with anything from hummus to the fanciest of cheeses. I dipped my thin crisps into a delicious jalapeno artichoke dip, and it was pure heaven!
Idahoan Foods– For those who can’t get enough of a good thing, our Idahoan Cheddar & Sour Cream perfectly blends 100% REAL Idaho® Potatoes with flavorful cheddar and smooth sour cream. Idahoan Smokey Cheese & Bacon always means 100% REAL Idaho® Potatoes. They perfectly blend them with smoked cheddar and tasty bacon for a delicious favorite. I have always loved Idaho Potatoes as the perfect side dish. I am planning to serve them with a ham dinner next week.
MaraNatha– Satisfy your afternoon craving with a MaraNatha packet, the perfect on-the-go snack. Try all three flavors including Dark Chocolate, Caramel and Coconut. I have not yet tried these, but I think I might spread them on graham crackers for a delicious snack.
Vitabella– Vitabella Strawberry Pillows are an ideal breakfast alternative for a tasty start to your day, or as a healthy snack. I have not yet tried these, because I gave them to my pregnant daughter, who thought they looked delicious and healthful.
Lundberg Family Farms– Vanilla Chai Baked Grain Bites give you the right balance of rich vanilla mixed with warm cinnamon, and exotic spices to create a superb Vanilla Chai flavor sensation. I tried these grain bites as a snack to eat while I watched a movie. They are delicious!
Sweet Baby Ray’s Hot Sauce– When it comes to hot sauce, there’s really no such thing as overdoing it. With a hearty kick of aged cayenne and garlic, this brand-new sauce will soon become your go-to for just about everything. I added this delicious sauce to my homemade chili, and it added just the perfect kick!
