Textures
All products are fluids, not only so they all fit in same sized “bullets”, but also because an enormous part of the human body consists of water. Therefore liquid makeup tends to blend into the skin more easily than solid makeup: the products will melt into the skin instead of lie on it.
Design
All products will come in similar shaped pens that hold the liquid colours. Right from when Ellis started developing her first ideas about the brand, she wanted the pens to be inspired by bullets. Award-winning industrial designer Arnout Visser took this idea and, together with Ellis, he started a long search for the perfect look, the best size, the right material et cetera. It has taken quite a while to get from idea to sketch to final design to computer simulation to the final product was finished, but it was worth the journey.
The end result is perfect lipshades that glide on effortlessley, creamy, milky silky and shiny, as well as liquid creaseless eyeshadows.
ELLIS LIPS:
I received samples of several of Ellis Faas lipcolors. I love how the lipcolors are pure natural pigment, with vivid colors that do not fade. I use a matte berry color, and apply a glaze over it for the perfect pout. It literally stays on all day long and feels light.
There are three textures, 27 colours: ELLIS LIPS offer a range of looks, from stained and subtle to vivid and glossy. ELLIS RED, the ELLIS FAAS signature colour, is available in all three textures: Creamy Lips, Milky Lips and Glazed Lips.
ELLIS LIPS products are lightweight, long-lasting and easy to apply. Paraben-free and loaded with Vitamin E, they also blend into the lips without leaving a sticky residue, leaving the lips soft and conditioned.
Ellis Faas Lipwear ELLIS EYES:
I received a sample of ELLIS FAAS creamy eyeshadow. With its liquid consistency, these innovative and long lasting eye shadows transform into a matte powder upon application with the ELLIS FAAS signature pen. ELLIS FAAS eye shadow leaves a smooth finish and will not build up in eyelid creases, making it suitable for all skin types. Liquid to powder eye shadow is also ideal for women who are sensitive to traditional powdered eye shadow, including contact lens wearers.
I usually am allergic to most powder eyeshadows, so this eyeshadow was perfect for me.
