Mommies are not supposed to fall down and get hurt, are they? Especially climbing on things? Isn't that what we moms are supposed to be telling our kids NOT to do? Wow. Epic fail for me! I was climbing onto the washing machine to reach something in the cupboard, and instead of grabbing a step stool or a chair to reach what I needed, I grabbed onto the cupboard doors to use them as leverage. As I pulled on those doors, they came loose, right off the wall. I landed on my back with the entire panel of three huge cupboard doors right on my face. It had hit the bridge of my nose and I don't remember it hurting, but the hot blood began to pour and that freaked me out. My little boy freaked out, too, of course, and ran to get Daddy, who cleaned me up and did assess the situation to see if I was okay. Miraculously, I was fine. Just some bruises, a black and blue nose and a sore neck remain.
