I have always loved IHOP. It brings back many childhood memories when I would go there with my grandma on Saturdays for big delicious stacks of pancakes, eggs and bacon. Yum! I still enjoy taking my family there for special occassions now that I am all grown up.
Now I have found another reason to love IHOP. They have added New hand-crafted Griddle Melts to their menu. Griddle Melts are large, hearty, and hand-crafted breakfast sandwiches that are served on artisan sourdough bread and are made to order any time of the day. These delicious sandwiches come in three delightful varieties:
Spinach, Roasted Pepper & Cheese
Sauteed spinach in a fluffy egg omelet topped with roasted red peppers, onions, melted Provolone, Parmesan and Pepper jack cheeses on grilled artisan sourdough bread.
Western
Smoked ham and sauteed peppers and onions in a classic omelet, topped with sliced ham, melted American cheeese and served on grilled artisan sourdough bread.
Ham & Egg Melt
Sliced ham and melted Swiss and American cheeses over a fluffy egg omelet served on grilled artisan sourdough bread.
Each sandwich is served with your choice of hash browns, french fries or seasonal fruit.
I chose the Spinach, Roasted Red Pepper & Cheese Griddle Melt. It was fabulous! It was delicious and very satisfying. I would definitely order this again, and I highly reccommend it to everyone. It is the perfect sandwich not only for breakfast, but for any time of the day.
