This summer, I have been pampering my skin with products from Karin Herzog, the luxurious line of skincare formulated with stabilized active oxygen. Two of my favorite products so far from this line are Karin Herzog’s Oxygen Sun and Karin Herzog’s Finest Chocolate Cleansing.
Karin Herzog’s Oxygen Sun is ideal for summer skin hydration for both pre and post sun exposure. Use prior to sun exposure to optimally hydrate the skin and support melanin production. When used with a regular SPF cream, the oxygen penetrates the skin, supporting a “healthy” even tan while minimizing burning, peeling and blistering. After sun exposure, the cream will rehydrate the skin preparing it for another day in the sun
My Experience: The sun has been out quite a bit this year and I have been enjoying it. I was truly very pasty white at the beginning of this summer and I wanted to get a tan. (I know, shame on me.) My skin usually just burns (then tans) in a very uneven fashion so I applied Oxygen Sun on my arms and legs before sun exposure. (It does not contain sunscreen.)
Later in the day I noticed that I had received color evenly. My tan actually looked very uniform and gorgeous. After my shower, I re-applied Oxygen Sun on my damp skin. It felt so amazing and cooled off my body as well as left me feeling fresh and completely hydrated. My skin never looked leathery or dry, and it prolonged the life of my tan.
