Now, WHERE is that sunshine? Certainly not in Oregon!

Uggggh!  Where is my motivation, my 'Mo-Jo', my 'Go-Juice'?  I can tell you that for me, it is certainly hidden away at this time, just as our wonderful (not) Oregon sunshine is hidden away behind the clouds.  I guess for the fairer-skinned folks like myself, that is a blessing in disguise.  Not a very fun blessing for the kiddos, however.  I mean, right now it is not raining and we do not require any air-conditioning.  That means less electricity is being used around here.  That is looking at the bright side of things.  My little boy is happily playing on the trampoline with his big sister, but it is only 61 degrees out.  Geez, it is late July, for crap sake.  The rest of the nation is in a heat wave and Oregon is suffering from hypothermia.  What gives? Oh well, I guess I should not complain much, because I know that if our weather was too hot, I would still be complaining!  That's what these dreary skies do to a person, I guess.  I shall just let my un-kept house dwindle in messiness as I sit here feeling very grateful for anti-depressants that come in tablet form, because Mother Nature is certainly not doing her job!
