Rita Hazan created her line of Foaming Color Gloss which is like luxury lip gloss for the hair. These foaming glosses are salon-quality shine and toning treatments that you can do yourself in your shower at home.
My hair is long and my highlights were definitely looking brassy and orange. I was able to try Rita Hazan Foaming Color Gloss, in 'Tones Down Brassiness' to tone down my copper-looking grown out highlights.
After I shampooed my hair, I applied 'Tones Down Brassiness', and left it in my damp hair for about 5 minutes. (The same length of time it normally takes me to shave my legs and wash my face.) I then rinsed it out and conditioned my hair as usual. After my hair was dry, I did notice that my brassiness was toned down and blended well into my natural haircolor, yet still showed off my highlights.
Rita Hazan also has a foaming color gloss for enhancing golden tones, as well as a colorless foaming gloss to add high luster and shine.
