Saladshots, makers of portable, one-of-a-kind natural salad dressing, today announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign as part of its efforts to transform the salad industry.
With the funds raised, Saladshots will take a giant step towards elevating the category with uniquely flavored, on-the-go natural dressings made with the highest quality ingredients that are a mix of low fat, low calorie, low sodium, gluten free, and rich in antioxidants.
Unique and delicious flavors such as “Rose Petal,” “Chocolate Chip,” “Mac n’ Cheese,” “Pomegranate” and “PB&J,” as well as traditional flavors such as “Honey Mustard” and “Feel Good Ranch,” are made with high-quality ingredients and cut down on the amount of fat, sodium and processed sugar (Saladshots uses agave nectar as a natural alternative) found in most dressings on the market today.
What’s more, Saladshots incorporates the latest natural food technology to reduce the oil and fat content of the dressings without losing taste or luxurious texture.Equally, and in order to reduce its eco-footprint, all Saladshots dressings come in eco-friendly and BPA-free foil on-the-go pouches that are sleek, lightweight and multi-functional.

My Thoughts: I am always very open to trying something new and I think Saladshots is a great concept to get people (like my seven year old-son) to eat more salads, (although he is not as culinarily adventurous as I would like him to be.) I received samples of Saladshots in Chocolate Chip and Honey Mustard.
The Honey Mustard is the perfect combination of sweet and savory and I had it on my kale salad. It was delicious! My son wanted to try the Chocolate Chip flavor, and I let him pour it over his green salad. He absolutely loved it! I was very pleased to see him actually eating his salad, which he normally just picks at.
