My personal thoughts: I have been blessed so far in my life that breast cancer has not happened to anyone in my family, but I do not ever take that for granted because it can happen to anyone, any time. Cancer is a beast. I lost my mother-in-law to brain cancer as well as my father-in-law to oral cancer both in 2014.
