Winter is here! There is definitely a chill in the air! My husband works at a job where he is constantly outdoors, and his job requires constant phone use. (He is a project manager for construction.) The regular gloves that my husband wears make it impossible to dial phone numbers, let alone text anyone! I have discovered the new and improved Mujjo Touchscreen Gloves. The fabric of these gloves has been given a highly conductive treatment before being weaved into a slim, stretchy profile that conforms to the shape of your hands. The gloves mimic the conductive properties of the skin to make them touchscreen compatible.
These amazing gloves were already a hit last year during the holidays, but have been recently re-engineered to be able to withstand much colder temperatures.
First off, the outer shell has been upgraded to an ultra-durable, and wind-resistant, heavier Micro Pique. Two extra layers of insulation were added to create the unique double-insulated triple-layer construction.
They’ve lined the entire inside with an extra layer of wind-resistant double-bonded Micro Fleece. The extra layer of insulation greatly improves wind resistance and doubles up as a soft and comfortable lining against the hand.
In between, the lining is entirely laminated with an extra layer of 3M™ Thinsulate™ creating an enhanced double-insulated triple-layer ‘sandwich’ construction that makes the gloves soft, comfortable to wear and even warmer in cold climates.
Listening to their customer feedback, they have reengineered the thumb construction to make them fully conductive and optimised for responsiveness on larger screens. Plus, the thumbs now include 3M Thinsulate to (again) improve overall insulation.
Made with knit fleece fabric stretches in all directions for a comfortable pre-curved fit and the stretchable cuff seals snugly around the wrist. Those super-sleek silicone grip lines are still there, meaning your phone is safe and sound in sleet or snow.
To put it simply… Better insulation, better touch capabilities, and still looking cool as hell! What could be better?
