Band Angels® are adhesive bandages with healing bible verses printed right on the bandage. Kids love the precious little guardian angel design and the healing scriptures are a great way to teach children about the promises of God. Mothers and caretakers can now provide comfort while using the opportunity to teach children about the Bible – and they love the fun angel characters!
Band Angels® were created by Tim and Tami West. Their granddaughter, Riley had been diagnosed with juvenile diabetes when she was four years old. One night, while placing a cartoon bandage on her arm after her evening injection, they began talking about how great it would be to have bandages that would help teach Riley about the promises of God! A short time later, they placed the very first Band Angels® bandage on her arm. Since that day, parents and caretakers have not only been comforting, but also teaching children by applying the promises of God to the cuts and scrapes of life!
My Experience: I received samples of Band Angels bandages to review. We are a religious family, and I am always trying to teach my children that God is there to help us heal when we are hurting, whether it be physically or emotionally. I love the idea of Band Angels. They are a sweet little reminder of God's love. My children love them! My 15 year old daughter wore one to school last week and was proud to show off her Band Angel bandage, and to read people the verse on it. My little boy, Braxton is just beginning to read and he loves to read me the wonderful healing verses, too.
It doesn't matter what age your children are. It is always a good thing to give them little reminders each day of God's love and His role in healing our boo-boos, no matter how small.
