My Thoughts: From reading this book, I have discovered some very important techniques that I am learning to put to use to reduce stress in our home. I have four children, and life can get extremely stressful with everyone’s schedules, commitments and our family dynamics. Lori teaches tips and helpful advice that I can use to make my home environment more relaxing for my kids. Bottom line is: Life is stressful, but it doesn’t have to be miserable for children and there are ways to better deal with stressful situations than screaming and yelling. I will definitely teach my children the breathing techniques and other coping mechanisms I have learned from this book.
