The classic collection item that most people think of when they think of collections is stamps, but what if you aren’t interested in collecting boring old stamps?
You can collect anything you want to. The list is endless. If it makes you happy when you grow the collection, you should collect it.
Even then, when the list is endless, it’s difficult to choose from all of the options and find the one that really speaks to you. If you want to start a collection, but you can’t make a decision on what to collect or you need some inspiration for your collection, then take a look at these ideas.
1. Glasses
The ones you drink from, not the ones you wear on your face. They come in all sorts of different sizes, shapes, colors and designs; they would make for an incredibly varied and unique collection! Tumblers, wine glasses, pint glasses; you name it, you can collect it.
Put them on display in your kitchen cabinets, and all of your guests can admire the collection too.
2. Pin Badges
Pin badges are extremely versatile and a wonderful collection to have. You can either set them up on display in your home on a cork or felt board, or wear them with pride on a bag, t-shirt or jacket! 3. ‘Ugly’ Sweaters
If you have a sweet spot for an ugly sweater, then your collection will probably already be started. Make thrift shopping more fun when you are actively hunting for those sweaters with strange slogans and messages. Break them out at Christmas when even more people are wearing them than usual.

There are so many kinds of crystals out there, you could even specialize your crystal collection into a specific type of crystal. 7. Vintage Photographs
Vintage photographs are full of history of lives gone by. They can usually be found easily in antique stores and each one has its own story to tell. Check the back of the photograph and there may even be a personal handwritten message that gives you more detail about the photo itself. 8. Scented Candles
