My thoughts: Jodee’s book is a great resource for parents and kids dealing with intolerance or bullying. She gives valuable advice and insight about how a child can deal with bullying, and that they are not alone. This book is very inspirational and can help children who are victims to find their voice.
I was a pretty shy kid in grade school and middle school. I can definitely remember times when I was bullied on the bus by two older girls, Vera and Wendy. I felt very much alone at that time and afraid to speak up. I wish I had the resources back then to give me the courage to stand up to them. I am confidant that this book will be a great help to kids all over the world to help them stand up for themselves.
